“We started our adventure with motifs of birth and life and want to end it with the bird motif which is closely related to the end of life.
The bird has a unique status in Anatolian symbolism, in that no other motif has so many meanings. While the owl and crow-type birds are considered to bring bad luck, pigeons, doves and nightingales bring good luck. At times, the bird is the symbol of happiness, joy and love, and at others, the spirit of the departed one.”
